Set on the edge of a small peacefull valley about a mile outside the village thi9s is an ideal place to just relax or a well placed base to explore both Normandy and Brittany. Unspoilt quite beaches are about half an hour away as is the historic site at Mont St Michel. Several golf courses and exellent fishing facilities are also within easy reach.A large street market at St Hilare du Harcouet is held eash wednesday where exellent shops and restaurants may also be found. Mortain is also close which also has good shopinf and a delightfull cascade (waterfall ) area to explore. |
