This is a two bedroomed ground floor apartment overlooking a private courtyard in the picturesque part of Old Avignon.
The apartment was originally constructed in 1875 and was recently renovated in 2005. The apartment sleeps up to 6 in two bedrooms (a double bed and 2 single beds) with a sofabed in the living room. The apartment also has a separate kitchen and dining room as well as its own bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a freezer, cooking stove, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and coffee maker. The bathroom has both a shower and bath tub. There is a TV in the living room.
There is a communal parking lot belonging to the building (spaces available on a first come, first served basis.)

The old part of Avignon has cobbled stone streets with working water wheels and charming restuarants. The apartment is in the ideal location for the Avignon Theatre Festival in July of each year.
The apartment is less than 50m from the Town Centre with numerous restuarants and bars. The famous Pope's Palace is a stroll away, while the train station is 250m.
Nearby there is a theatre, local swimming pool. You also have the chance to play tennis, go hiking, try out canoeing or play golf. The Pont du Gard is 25km away. Also in the vicinity are various vineyards which offer wine tasting.
The closest airport is Nimes with daily flights with Ryanair from Stansted and Luton. |
