This very spacious farmhouse is located in a small quite village in the heart of the region. The house has a very modern kitchen with all modern utilities, a large dinning room and a very large living room with an excellent open fire place. The lounge as a tv with DVD player and a video, many films are provided. Also downstairs is a toilet and shower. Upstairs are 2 very large double bedrooms 1 has its own en-suite, and a twin bedroom. There is also a large bathroom with a toilet.
Outside is a very large garden. Ideal just to relax and enjoy a good novel while soaking up the sun. The garden also has a "secret" waiting for the children to discover. This is a fantastic "house with a view" over looking some of the best French country side ever. Enjoy the fields of sunflowers that greet you each morning as you open your bedroom window.

Within an hours drive you can visit some of the best beaches in France in and aroun Royan and Ile de Re, or tour around La Rochelle and enjoy the wonderfull fresh shell fish cuisine. The area is filled with many historic places to visit such as Saintes and St Jean d'Angley, all with local markets providing fresh food and excellent wine.
Cognac is a very old and historic town, vist both the Martell or Hennessy distilleries, or visit one of the many Pineau vine yards that cover the region. You may just want to relax and take a tour down one of the many rivers that flow in the region.
Because the region is so varied and colourful, there is always something for everyone to enjoy - both young and old!
