The late 18th Centuary Farmhouse at La Charouffie is a tranquil location for your holiday. The Farmhouse is elegantly furnished mainly in the traditional French Style keeping many of its original fittings. The sweeping walnut staircase, oak floors and open fireplaces are just a few features that give La Charouffie it's charm and character. The Farmhouse sleeps up to 12 people with three delightful double bedrooms all with en-suite showers, and three twin rooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom and a beautiful balcony.
The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave, cooker, fridge freezer and two small 'drinks' fridges!
Outside there is a barbeque area to enjoy eating alfresco and absorb the peaceful atmosphere and views over the grounds.
The grounds are mainly lawned areas so there is plently of space for children to let off steam. For the more energetic there is badminton, table tennis and boules to play, maybe have a dip in the pool. For those wanting to just laze around, read a book or do a spot of wildlife watching it is the perfect place as we are on the edge of town with views out into the countryside.
The Cottage is set within the grounds and is ideal for 4 to 6 people, there are two family rooms both en-suite and a large open plan kitchen/living room. The woodburning stove is a focal point in the living room and very cosy in the winter. We offer long lets for house hunters or out of season breaks, please ask us for details.

Riberac town centre is only a short stroll away, with supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and the largest Friday market in the Dordogne. All within easy reach, Riberac gives an excellent choice of French Cuisine and ingredients for every culinery taste.
An ideal base for families and friends to enjoy their holiday which is central for exploring the many fascinating unspoilt villages, Aubeterre, Brantome and Bordailles to name a few. Vin yards towards Bordeaux or Bergerac give wine lovers a treat maybe vist the Chateaux at Saint Emillion or Polmerol. For the energetic there are tennis courts, cycle hire, kyaking or horse riding locally, drive to Perigueux and have a round of golf or retail therapy with designer shopping perhaps.
