Situated close to the village of Carnas, between Nīmes and Montpellier, within 4000 m2 of enclosed peaceful garden, La Bardane is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday beside the pool. The annexe, for up to 7 people, has been fully renovated last year to give you all the comfort of home. It now has a fully fitted kitchen, as well as a large lounge/dining room with a very efficient fire place should the need arise. Both shower rooms (1 en-suite) are completely new. The bedrooms, 1 double, I with bunk beds and 1 single have all been redecorated last year. There is a large terrace with garden furniture so you can enjoy your meals outside under the shade of the pine trees as well as your own barbecue & car park. The mature garden offers plenty of shade and secret corners to sit and read a book or simply nap in; it is fully enclosed so there is no need to worry about the children running out and there is plenty of space for football games or other outdoor pursuits. The swimming pool is also enclosed with locking gates.

Because of its location between the coast and the Cevennes, there is a large choice of activities to choose from when you're holidaying in this part of the Languedoc Roussillon. From beautiful and interesting walks through the countryside, past Roman ruins, to canoeing on the river Herault for the more adventurous, or simply touring by car and taking in the sites, there is enough variety to suit the whole family.
Starting from La Bardane, going north west, you can explore the Cevennes and visit Mount Aigoual, its observatory and museum of meteorology. Going south, you can go sailing in the Grau du Roi or La Grande Motte, just spend the day on the beach or visit the medieval town of Aigues-Morte. South East you will discover the Camargue, its wildlife and the beautiful town of Saintes Maries de la Mer... Also worth a visit are the towns of Nīmes, Montpellier, Anduze, Sommičre, Avignon, Arles and, of course, the famous Pont du Gard, to name but a few of the many places of interest.
Information will be at your disposal on site to help you plan and organise your visits. |
