Currently we have on offer a charming two person traditional farm-house gite set in the quiet rural hamlet of La Faye situated in the district of La Vienne.
With stone walls, wooden beams, and open fireplace, our studio gite combines character with comfort. Cooking facilities comprising cooker and oven are available within the gite as well as full barbecue facilities for outdoor feasts which can be eaten on the terrace.
Surrounded by glorious fields, this peaceful and tranquil setting will provide true relaxation for any person hoping to have a break from the pressures of modern life.
On site is a magnificent swimming pool to use at your leisure, and for the more active there are a host of activities on offer from walking, cycling, canoeing and fishing to exploring some of the best markets and restaurants the Charente has to offer.
With an abundance of charming historic towns and villages within easy access of the property a visit to La Faye will supply you with a host of memories to take back home.

Cycling, walking, fishing or an exploration of historic towns and villages - these form only part of the attractions the Gartempe valley has to offer. Take a stroll around the medieval town of Chauvigny where from the ruins of the ancient fortress you can enjoy the Giant birds of prey display. Enjoy the sights and smells and sensation of its market. As evening falls on the fortified ruins relax in one of the small local bars and enjoy a chilled pineau des charentes - the exquisite local aperitif made from a subtle blend of Charente grape juice and cognac.
A seemingly endless supply of wonderful cheeses is available in the region. Explore for the delight and novelty of unusual and rare varieties of wines the many vineyards located around the Marigny-Brizay. A day trip to the coast will avail you of a sumptious gastronomic indulgence in fish and seafood.
